Islamabad, 9 September 2020 — Islamabad Club has formally entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with M/s Win Steel Re-Rolling Mills (Pvt.) Ltd. for the sponsorship of a new wall clock and scoreboard at the prestigious Islamabad Club Polo Ground (ICPG). The initiative comes in response to the longstanding demand of polo-playing members, who highlighted the need for a reliable time and score display system to enhance convenience and accuracy during matches, particularly in the busy polo seasons.

Under the agreement, Win Steel will sponsor the construction and installation of a state-of-the-art wall clock combined with a scoreboard at the Polo Ground. The facility will serve as a practical addition for players, officials, and spectators alike, ensuring that match proceedings are conducted with greater ease and professionalism.

The MoU signing ceremony was held at the Islamabad Club and attended by senior officials and members of the polo fraternity. Seen in the picture are the Secretary of Islamabad Club, Mr. Sheharyar Mirza, and the Director of Win Steel, Mr. Umair Abdul Nasir, signing the document. Also present on the occasion were respected polo members Mr. Shaukat Malik, Ms. Bushra Taskeen, Mr. Ayaz Khawar, and Assistant Secretary of Islamabad Club, Mr. Sohail Shigri, who appreciated the sponsorship and expressed optimism about the facility’s impact on the sport.
